Desk Tour

What My Desk Looks Like....

This is a little overview of my desk. My desk is from ikea and it is called the MICKE desk and I did of the top shelves and the whiteboard, but I unscrewed them so I can have it facing the window. but there also is one you can buy already without the top already.

Then in the top drawer, this is where I keep most desk like things. Stationery pretty much.

In the middle of the desk i have this organisation thing, and in the middle I have some beautiful pastel highlighters. There is not much to say there highlighters, but there are really pretty.

Then on the other side I have this ruler from Ohh deer, this is such a pretty ruler. But I also have a Zoella one which came in a set, with a rubber and a lot more.

Next to the highlighters I have a pair of regular scissors, and some washy tape from that Zoella set.

Next to the organisation thing, I have a vintage pot, that my dad kindly gifted to me when I went to his work in London. In this I keep my pens and pencils.

On the the other side is a Kate Spade Stationary box. If find this super helpful because it has everything you need just in there, I also received this fro xmas a couple years ago.

Then below that there is a mini acrylic Shelf//storage.

In the top shelf there are some clips from the Zoella set.

In the second shelf I have a ton of rubbers!

In the last shelf I have two sharpeners, one gold and one copper.

above the little kate spade set I just have some pink post-it notes and white labels. Very essential.

Moving onto the side drawer and cupboard. In the cupboard I just have all my notebooks, and this happy post where you post little notes into a box then when your feeling a bit down you can read them and remind yourself there is good times it not all awful.

Then moving on to the small drawer above I just keep some important pieces of paper, a book called a thousand paths to mindfulness ,  a hand cream from zoella 'wonder hand', some light bulbs for my light my diary.

On the top of my desk (The right hand side.) I have a calendar again from Zoella. Then in front a candle.

Onto the left hand side I have a clock, and this little tea light that smell incredible (From Primark.)

I also have a lamp on my desk from Ikea but  I can't seem to find on the website

.
Lastly on my window I just have a post-it saying DRINK WATER! And then next to it my new years resolutions and goals.

Thank you so much for reading! I also have a YouTube channel. Which I post every Monday on, and on here Monday and Friday.

December//January favourtites

What I have been Loving Through Out December and January....

Its to early to do a January favourites, but to late to do a December one so here they are combined.

This first may be at the top of my favourites just as it has helped me so much. It is White willow bark or just white willow. This helps if you have little bumps on your face I heard about this from Fiona Frills, and this has been the only thing that has helped me. It clears them and overnight I really recommend this and it is not expensive, all though it smells awful, but if it is going to clear your skin then that fine. What I do with it is put the tiniest bit on the back of my hand and rub it into my problem areas and it works a treat.

After that there is a water bottle and this I would advice you get the smaller one, but anyway it is the Joseph Joseph dot hydration. And this you twist the cap and a dot shows up, you twist the cap when you have drunk a bottle of water, and so you can keep track of how much water you have drunk.

Next I have really been enjoying the Keihl's midnight recovery cleansing oil. I use this to take my make up off at night, and it instantly with barley any rubbing removes your make up. It is all natural, but is really expensive. if you were thinking of treating yourself to a high end cleanser, then this is the one for you.

Okay so next is a lip balm, because this time of year I had to include one. It is the Burts bees Ultra conditioning lip balm. This (Other than Blistex, which sometimes is a little strong,) is my favourite lip balm, its really buttery, but not in a greasy way, smells not to strong. It is just my favourite lip balm all round.

After that we have the Bullet Journal. Which I have been loving using to plan my work stuff and it is a real help. Here is a couple videos on bullet journals that I love one by Lily Pebbles and a shorter one by Jusuf. And I talk about my January Bullet Journal here in a post

Thank you so much for reading my January and December favourites I hope you got some inspiration from it. I have a YouTube channel As well!

Things I Use To Organise.

What Methods I Use To Organise Different Things....

For work, blog and YouTube work, I have a bullet journal and I explain for about me bullet journal in my last BLOG POST. I really love having this to stay organised and make sure I am scheduling ahead of time.

Then for uploads and keeping that organised I just use the calendar on my laptop. It is really handy, even though I sort of have it in my bullet journal, to see when and what I am uploading.

But I don't use my bullet journal for the little to-dos not for work or my personal life. So for my little to-dos I use Wunderlist. It is an amazing app for the little to-dos for the future.

Lastly my day-to-day To dos I just use a little notepad that I wright each night (For the morning) my to-dos for the day and things I want to do, then at the end of the day I rip it of and start fresh for the next day.
I also use this notepad to jot down any quick ideas so then I can remember to put into its right app or notebook.

Thank you for reading! I hope you had a good time reading and I have tons more for you to check out, but if you prefer videos I have a YouTube Channel, I post on there every Monday and here Monday and Friday.

January Bullet Journal Overview

What My Bullet Journal Looks Like Through January.....

In my last post I said that I used to have bullet journal but didn't use it. Back then I didn't realise how much you can tailor it for your own use, of course it was my first time, and I am not expecting myself to know everything my first time. But here is my new and improved bullet journal. And I know it is pretty much mid January but I want to have a bullet journal and may as well just start one. Also my bullet journal isn't all crafty and artsy, I just need a place to see everything clearly and I just quite enjoy the minimal look.

This isn't my full bullet journal, it is only January because that is all I have. I am testing some layouts and I am still not sure if I will always use them. In this blog post I am not so much explaining what a bullet journal is but here is my favourite videos explaining it here

Here is the cover it is a LEUCHTTURM 1917 white dotted, and please if you are going to buy a bullet journal get the dotted it is a huge life saver, and with this notebook the pages are numbered also, which is a huge help.

When you first open the book you see my name, then you turn the page and you have your index. I love using the bullet journal because it has this index it really helps me find any pages as my bullet journal is a little bit everywhere.

I currently do not have anything on the first page I won't to leave that blank for something special. But on the second is my monthly overview. Then next it I have this grid and above it I have the first letter to any habit I want to keep up, and this is a nice way to see how often I do these healthy habits.

On the other side of the book there is a much larger grid and that is a weekly overview. It is not something I fill in each week, it is more of a week routine. It includes things like, take photos for next Mondays block post, go for a run ext...

On page four four it is pretty straight forward, just a place for me to write some blog post// video ideas.

Next to that page there is a video planner where on the left you write the date the video is uploading, next to it is the video name, and then a place for me tick that I have filmed it edited and uploaded.

The last page is just the same as the video planner but for my blog.

Thank you so much for reading there is some suggestions on blog posts below, but if you prefer to watch some videos I have a YouTube channel. I hope this is inspired you to start your own bullet journal it really helps me to organise my work.

Ways to fill your notebooks.

Stream of consciousness// Morning pages
I think I may have mentioned this before, but it is my favourite way to fill my notebook. Stream of consciousness is where you write anything and everything that comes to your mind, unedited and i do this every morning and i fill one or two A4 pages, but if you can only do one A5 then thats fine, suit it to you. I also have a notebook like this, but next my bed and so i write in this one before I sleep, because I tend to think about a lot before I sleep and this is a way to get it all out.

Gratitude journal
A gratitude journal (Just like in the name,) is a journal where you can write in monthly, weekly or daily and you write about things your grateful for. I have a monthly one and a daily one also a quarterly one. This is also one of my favourites, the feeling you get afterwards is incredible.

Bullet journal
There are lots of videos out there on this. my favourite one is by Lily pebbles and the Bullet journal channel is a good one. Its a really organised way of planning. I used to have a bullet journal but didnt find myself using it, only because i didn't have to plan much, but it think it is a really good system.

Current vs future me
This is an exercise where you draw yourself now and how somethings are in your life now, then on the other page you draw yourself a year or two in the future. I love this exercise it is a really good way to see your goals.

BLAGHH
So you might be wondering what I mean with this. This way to fill your notebook is to just write//draw anything. It is way to explode on to the paper and pretty much wreck the journal.

All my ideas
Lastly is pretty obvious and its a way to write down or draw all your ideas and i really love doing this with an index at the front so it is easier to find your ideas.

Thank you so much for reading I have some more blog posts just below here. Also I have a YouTube channel.

Ways To Sleep

Some helpful tips for the nights when you just can't sleep....

Lately I haven't been able to get some sleep. So I did a bit of research, and here are some tips that really helped me.

1: How to block out noise, my brother is really quite loud at night and so I find it really hard to sleep, using my amazon Echo I play a playlist from spotify called peaceful piano. I find this blocks out noise, but in a relaxing way.

2: Once a week or once every two weeks, have a really relaxing bath. I dont have it every night though as I wouldn't be very eco friendly, and I would get used to it and I wouldn't be a treat. Trust me, it adds up over time.

3: To not check the time. As hard as it is, it makes you stressed about not having enough sleep, which makes you think about more things.

4: Visualise your self asleep. Close your eyes and see yourself asleep, say to your self how you feel, how relaxed you are. This sends me straight asleep.

5: Worry time and evening stream of consciousness. This is for all those people who can't sleep for thinking so much or worrying. Stream of  consciousness is where you write anything that comes to mind, unedited. Worry time is in the morning or evening write down what you worry about, and have a little think about them. When I write them down I realise how silly they are and that they never in 1 million years would. I most defiantly recommend doing these.

6: Leg exercises. Don't make these to hardcore, but light leg exercise is one of the main thing that helps me. It gets your blood circulation in your legs go, or something like that

Thank you so much for reading, I hope now you can finally get a good nights rest. I also have a YouTube Channel. I post on there every Monday at 6pm UK time, and here i post 2 times a week (Monday & Friday,) at 77:40 pm UK time.

My Most Worn Clothes in 2017

What I clothing items wore most in 2017.....

Lets start from summer-ish time one of my Favourite items was this, easy to slip on loose play-suit in this beautiful rose colour. It is no longer for sale but I bought it from I saw it first.

Next for Summer we have a thin strapped loose, silk like, baby pink top. Which no longer fits so I had to hold it up. This again no longer for sale but it is from New Look.

Moving on to a bottom half clothing item. It is these flowy shorts, that I have had for so many years. They have this Aztec print with some elephants, there really pretty. Also a tip if you live in a hot country flowy shorts instead of denim are so much more comfortable, and less hot.

Next is a dress, a wrap dress. This is from forever 21 but again no longer available, but I am sure you can find one like it, it is very simple but a must have for me.

After that there is a cardigan that I also wore through spring, summer and autumn. They my still do it, it is a white/grey and thin knit, from H&M.

Moving on to more Autumn/Winter pieces we have a bluey knit jumper top/sweatshirt. I have been wearing this so often, its really comfortable and from H&M.

The next one I recently bought, but I wear about 4 times a week so I had include in this. It is the softest sweatshirt/top. Its blacky grey with a few buttons at the top. I bought this from Brandy Melville.

After that I am going to show this chenille sweatshirt/jumper top., its navy and SO SOFT, I bought this from M&S, which I don't usually shop in there I think there more for the older generation, but I really love this.

Thank you so much for reading there is some suggestions below on blog posts to read of mine.
Here is my YouTube I post every Monday at 6 pm and on here I post two times a week Monday and Friday.

5 Healthy Habits To Take Up In 2018.

5 healthy habits to take up in 2018 that will benefit your life....
(I have also done 5 more on my YouTube Here)

1. First is no something you do. It is a bad habit to break. So for instance you have a bad sleeping pattern, you can break that bad habit in 2018.

2.Start your day of early and make it slow and peaceful, take time to do skincare have a nice long shower, have a cup of tea and, (In that Summer) sit outside with it. Things like that will make your day nice and relaxed.

3. Take up stream of consciousness, there is a lot of videos out there on it, but to sum it up. You get a notebook and every morning (Or whenever you feel it necessary, fit it to your schedule it can be once or week or a month or whenever really,) you write in it whatever comes into your mind. (Again how ever many pages you think is necessary.I do two or how ever much I need it.) Don't worry about spelling, no one is ever going to see this, and probably not even you. If agggdfdggf comes into your mind then write it. The way it can benefit you is that it can find anything that is bad in your subconscious, and sort it out. its also a way to have gratitude and also be organised, because everything you need to do comes out then (I usually underline it so I can go back and find it.)

4. This is one may be two but there related. The first one is try new food. It wont hurt to try them you'll just get a weird taste in your mouth for bit, but then you may love them and its really good to have a wide selection of food that you like for many different reasons. The second one is about being vegan/vegetarian, this is of course what you think is right for you lifestyle. But if you where thinking about going vegetarian/vegan, try it for a week or a month. Me and my friend tried going vegan for a month, there where few mistakes but that fine. She manly did for a month, but I had to stop after 2 weeks as I lost a lot of weight. I am already vegetarian, but it was still a huge effort and change. Vegetarian is the way for me, but it may be good for you, and extremely healthy if you eat the right things.

5. Meditation which i'm sure you know the benefits on doing it, but I wanted to add it in here because I want to do 10 minutes each day and it is a really good de-stresser.

Thank for reading, I upload on Monday and Friday at 6 pm. I also have a main YouTube, also a an extra Channel.
