What amount of clothes is neccesary, so you don't get clutter.....
If we start from the top of my wardrobe, there is jumpers, jumper dresses skirts and sweatshirts....
I like to have 2-3 skirts as I don't wear them very often, also it nearly being December.
Then I have my jumper dresses, I have two, I wear them very often, and won't to get more. Because of my size I can get jumpers to fit as jumper dresses, but it also means that jumper dresses (Which are a little more fitted,) don't fit me. So finding them is very hard, but recommend having 3-4, (If you wear them often.)
Then I have sweatshirts, I have mentioned before I live in these, so to put all of them in the picture would be really hard, but I have, around five or so. I think that's the perfect amount if you live in these but if, not then two is enough.
Now for cardigans, I have three, which is plenty for this time of year. cardigans are good for late August, to early October. So I have noticed, this month I have probably worn a cardigan twice.
Then for zip-up jumpers, I own one grey zip-up jumper from Jack Wills and that is enough for me, if you don't own any go out to the shop and buy one, try to make it an easy colour to wear with other clothing items (Like mine, its light grey.)
Then in the second drawer I have my tops, I have one long sleeve (To wear day-to-do, but never wear it,) I also have tops to layer with....
To start of with I own one long sleeve top which is more for a winter wardrobe item, as its not cold enough, because I also wear jumpers, scarfs and things like that I don't see my self reaching for this item, so maybe hold back to buy it, wait till winter, so you have more space to fill your wardrobe with things you love and know you wear.
Then for layers I have 3 long sleeves, but only two is necessary, I also have 3 vests which i'll tend to give to charity by November, as I reach for long sleeves more.
Next is my third drawer wear I keep my nightwear.....
For nightwear I like to have three sets (As I spend most time at home I like to own a lot of nightwear and comfy clothes, but if you tend to be out more maybe up the number of everyday clothing items up 1-2, and down size in nightwear.) And have two or three tops and two bottoms.
Now for the final drawer, This is wear I keep my jeans, jogging bottoms and leggings.....
I'll start of with jeans (Now I don't go anywhere very often, so I only have two pairs of jeans and that's plenty.) I only really wear my black jeans, so find a pair you love wear them until you have worn them so much there cardboard, but I also have backup just in case I need a pair of jeans.
Next is legging which I have two pairs of but maybe if you go to school maybe get three, because there great to wear to school (I wore leggings all the time when I went to school.) And as I spend a lot of time at home, there also a great lounge-wear item.
Last but not least is my jogging bottoms, I live in these so I own three pairs, normal grey, black and a very soft grey black print. This is the perfect amount, but if your like me and live in these, then investing in a good pair, is quite a good decision, I only own Primark, but hopefully for Xmas i'll get a pair of ones from Jack Wills. But if you spend your time out of the house, then one is the amount you want.
Have a productive week (And if you wan to know how to check out my recent blog post.)
